Tribal Hunter is a classic-style action platformer game. The player becomes the mythical protector spirit, “Munch”. Hunts opponents and can eat them to increase their fullness meter. If you eat adequately, you will increase in size! Your height and fullness then also function as a magic meter that you can spend for various effects like healing yourself or casting strong magic like a fireball!
Becoming larger has both pros and cons. Your punch will become much more powerful at larger sizes along with increased damage opposition from your bouncy full body! However, becoming bigger also suggests you are a bigger target for enemies to hit. Also, certain types of enemy attacks are piercing, dealing extra harm to your full tight body, so be careful!
Game Overview
There is a mixed cast of people to be seen on the aisle. Explore the island and talk to them. Rescuing people helps your tiny village grow, causing it a popular place to be. They can provide valuable data and support you on your journey
There is a large array of opponents blocking your path. Tribal Hunter has 9 different zones. Each has its own rival set and graphic style. Analyze per of them to save your town! The future of the isle is in your writings. No experience is complete without a bit of challenge though, each zone has its special boss who will stand in your way and test your might! They may be difficult, but that makes your win all the more satisfying! (Some bosses have some “unusual” way to defeat 😀 )
But adventuring isn’t ALL you do. Because every hero’s journey requires some downtime, the island’s people may have unusual ideas for how to spice things up. Play a humorous minigame for additional rewards! Munch is enjoying this probably.
He is a guardian spirit who has taken up home into a plush beauty and carried on a life of his own so that he can put the bank roaster on a cheap gang of pigs who are making the local’s lives hell at the behest of a tall king of all evil named Bowser- sorry wrong game. Darkdread. A villain who is assured to make you laugh and cross your legs if you are of a particular demographic who is most certainly recreating this game.
Why is he making the lives of the residents of the aisle a real drag? Well that is up to you to find out as Munch, as you travel the island beating the crap out of every last one of his associates for answers while other NPCs cryptically give you the future to fulfill or make your journey challenging by making you restock on recovering items to try again, and again
Tribal Hunter Important Content:

TRIBAL HUNTER CAN YOU BEAT ALL THE CHALLENGES AND SAVE YOUR TRIBE
Throughout this play, I was surprised by the difficulty and the massive (pun intended). The amount of detail put into these characters and making them important, so challenging, and cute all at once without a center. Because I don’t think this game had a single moment where I was not looking onward to the following area and anticipating the next large villain I was gonna need to beat by tenderizing them with hand-to-hand combat or making them hate eggs for the rest of their lives.
Each boss was designed with care and innovation with mechanics that you must adhere to succeed. Some of them will need you to punch them until they fall over while some require you to gather out a trick to win. I love that. Because More games like this need to do this more.
The game has some mini-games and challenges for you to overcome if you feel like getting the full knowledge, from bullet-hell style inclines to rematches with baddies you are familiar with that include a few new tricks for you to overcome. I guess I only finished 3 of those…not going to try again for a time. They aren’t easy! But this is right, they haven’t suggested The level design is the second aspect of the play that I feel is worth mentioning.
I value the use of colors and the music employed for each of these zones you will visit in the play. Nothing needs to change, it gels jointly so well that you ignore this is even an indie game. It feels like a real labor of love and you can feel this as you trek from the town to the tip-top of the island.
